Young Langley golfer has strong weekend

Langley’s Emma Yang had a great weekend in the recent Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s MJT Ford Series tournament in Chilliwack.

During the April 14 and 15 event, Yang, just 15, finished three under par, with 68 and 73 over the two days.

Yang was competing in the 15-18 Girls Low Overall division.

Angela Zhang, 16, of Vancouver claimed the division title at five under par.
