Team Tardi isn’t just going to the BC Men’s Curling Championships in February.
The team, composed of members from the Royal City and Langley Curling Clubs, has also qualified for the BC Junior Men’s Curling Championship taking place Dec. 27-Jan. 1.
It will be home ice for some of the players, as it takes place at the Royal City Curling Club.
The team hopes to defend their provincial title and, if successful, to represent B.C. at the Canadian Curling Championships taking place in Esquimault in January.
After that, they’ll head back to Abbotsford for the Feb. 8-12 BC men’s Curling Championships at the Abbotsford Curling Club.
A total of four games from the event will be televised on Shaw TV on February 11 and 12.
The winning team will represent British Columbia at the Tim Hortons Brier in St John’s, Newfoundland, from March 4-12.
