Langley Rivermen take two games

Merritt was no match for Langley in a Tuesday night matchup at the George Preston Recreation Centre.

Clendenin Satchel scored both goals for the Rivermen in a close 2-1 matchup.

Despite the low score, Merritt never really came close to victory. The Rivermen took a 2-0 lead in the first period, while the Centennials struggled with penalties.

The game followed a Sunday night win for the Rivermen, in which they beat an injury-depleted Coquitlam Express 6-1.
