Langley golfer joins junior tourney

Andy Kim will compete for Canada in the U.S.

A young Langley golfer is one of the nine Canadian youths who will golf for Canada at the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship.

The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) Team Canada group includes Andy Kim of Langley B.C., as part of the six-boy, three-girl team.

The international championship began Dec. 3 and runs to Dec. 7 in Carlsbad, Cali.

Canada is looking to improve on its sixth-place finish in 2015.
