Story of Langley neighbourhood rekindled fond memories

Reader enjoyed a Christmas story about the Sperling store.

Dear Editor,

Reading about the Sperling store brought back so many wonderful memories of growing up in Langley [Christmas spawns young entrepreneur, Dec. 21, Langley Advance].

My parents were close friends of the Woolleys, and we played with their kids for years. The picture of the store was like a warm fuzzy blanket wrapping around me. So many memories over the years. They were some of the best memories I have of growing up. Oh, the stories!
