Letters: Aldergrove pool support demands answers

Dear Editor,

With the Township election nearing, we have a question we would like to see you ask the candidates in your “20 questions to the candidates” article in the Langley Advance.

The subject of the long-promised Pool and Recreation facility is top priority for many Aldergrove citizens. We would really appreciate if you could pose the following question to the candidates for us. Their answers and their show – or lack – of support for this project will sway many Aldergrove citizens on how to vote during the election.

“Will you make the completion of the Aldergrove Pool and Recreation facility a top priority during your term as councillor?”

Aldergrove was a strong voting force in the past election, and this important subject needs to be addressed publicly by the candidates.

Julie Redlin, Aldergrove Recreation and Pool Society

[Editor: Consider your question asked. Candidates’ answers will appear in the Advance prior to the elections.]
