It is high time to connect the dots between the factors related to the Coulter Berry project debacle and its opponents.
I find it quite reprehensible that a small group of dilettantes have held the citizens of Fort Langley in limbo with litigation initiated by a “hollow man†organization, the Fort Langley Residents For Sustainable Development.
It would be easier to find sincerity in this initiative if it had been animated to actually advance sustainable development which would be verifiable with an actual track record, or even a current proactive agenda of issues to be advanced in support of sustainable development.
Sadly, though, the sole initiative of the group has been to attempt to scuttle the only actual sustainable development initiative involving a certified Gold LEEDS project in Langley Township.
This underscores their contentious and reactive nature, when their name would have us believe they are proactive.
Additionally it is deceptive in that it claims to be an organization of Fort Langley citizens, however at least one of its directors is not a resident of the Fort.
Very misleading, indeed.
I find it difficult to find credibility from any organization or individual that cavalierly misinforms or distorts the facts. What was my first clue? The launching of a society that is not what it says it is, unless of course, they have finally tackled some actual proactive and bona fide sustainable development initiatives that they want to keep to themselves.
