Woman found dead in Langley park identified

Police say there was no foul play involved in the incident.

The woman found deceased in a pond in Campbell Valley Regional Park in South Langley has been identified, police say.

The woman was found Monday afternoon by a group walking through the park.

The dead woman’s family has been notified, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP. Client Support and Victim Services are working with the family.

The BC Coroners Service is still doing its investigation into the death. The police do not believe foul play was involved.
