VIDEO: Second vehicle in past month torched in Langley neighbourhood

Fire crews responded to the exact same spot in Willoughby as they did on Feb. 9 for a SUV on fire.

Is it becoming a favourite dump site?

Residents in the 20600-block of 84B Avenue in Willoughby are asking that, after another vehicle was torched in their neighbourhood last night.

Just after 10 p.m. on Sunday evening Township of Langley fire crews received multiple reports about an SUV ablaze on the street.

Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved SUV on the side of the road.

The SUV was destroyed and it appears the licence plates were missing.

This is the exact same location that another vehicle was torched just after a nearby homicide on Feb, 9.

While not a remote area, this is a narrow street in an area still under construction.

RCMP could be seen canvassing the area and talking to witnesses.

It is not yet known if this vehicle is related to a nearby or recent violent crime as has been the trend.
