The annual two hour watery free-for-all (almost, save for all the pool staff keeping everyone safe) at Langley City’s Al Anderson Memorial Pool Saturday was once again packed.
Families looking to beat the heat and young people who have come to look forward to the annual bubbly battle filled the outdoor pool Saturday afternoon.
Armed with pool toys and an impressive arsenal of water guns, the kids had the first hour to practice their skills before the fire crews showed up with their fire trucks filled. From the ladder truck above and with firefighters on the ground making their way with hoses into the pool compound, it was an all out soggy assault for both sides.
The kids also did battle with pool staff many of whom were in comic book superhero costumes.
