Train derailment in Milner causing traffic headaches in central Langley

Five cars slipped off the tracks but the fix is taking longer than expected.

A minor train derailment was supposed to have been cleared away overnight but a section of Glover Road in Milner remains closed Thursday morning.

Five cars left the tracks at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, explained Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Marks.

Traffic is being rerouted around the area of Glover Road and 216th Street.
