A man was assaulted and a shot may have been fired in South Langley early Saturday morning, RCMP say.
Police were alerted to the incident when a resident near the 2700 block of 208th Street called to report hearing a gunshot, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.
“We do not believe anyone was hurt,” Largy said of the gunshot.
However, police did find a local resident who had been assaulted. He was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Largy said he is not being cooperative with investigators.
Officers are still looking into what happened on the property, Largy said.
