Several rifles and ammunition were stolen from a North Langley home on Feb. 27, Langley RCMP say.
The home was broken into during the day, and the culprits rumaged through the home, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the RCMP.
The guns were properly stored, with trigger locks, but the thieves found tools inside the home to break open the gun case.
They took a Winchester 300, a Winchester 12 gauge pump action shotgun, a Winchester 44 semi-automatic rifle, and a .22 calibre lever action rifle, along with ammunition for each fo the guns.
The thieves also took jewelry, Largy said.
RCMP are still investigating, with the aid of the Lower Mainland Forensic Identification Service.
