The Langley Mounties are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a local Prolific Property Offender.
Robin Allan Hibbs is wanted for the theft of a car on Dec. 2. The alleged theft took place in Brookswood, and the car was later recovered with a damaged steering column.
A warrant has been issued for Hibbs’ arrest, said Cpl. Holly Marks, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.
The suspect is Caucasian, 49, 6’0†and 161 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a scar on his forehead.
Hibbs has been designated a Prolific Property Offender for some time, said Marks. Designated offenders are people with long records of thefts or other property crimes.
Online court records show Hibbs has been in court dozens of times since 2006, charged with theft, break and enter, and breach of probation.
Anyone who can help police locate Hibbs can call them at 604-532-3200, or to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
