Icy enchantment

The Grade 10 students at Walnut Grove headed out Thursday after hearing the ice was solid enough for outdoor skating. (Below) The Arctic front that settled over B.C. in December transformed the fountain at Innes Corners into a miniature ice rink. Nine-year-old Dylan West walked on frozen water during a visit, when the high temperature hadn’t been able to reach the freezing mark.
