City Q8: 20 Questions for Langley City Council candidates

Dave Hall – Yes, but this can be cost prohibitive and the solution is currently to add these as infrastructure is altered and along with other road and bridge projects.

Nathan Pachal – Yes. I believe the City should invest in creating greenways and protected cycling lanes. Cycling lanes and greenways are cost effective. They provide the safety needed to help people feel comfortable cycling in the community giving people transportation choice.

Carla Robin – Yes, the City of Langley  has the opportunity to provide alternative modes of transportation as it revitalizes its core, and branches out into the neighbourhoods. Done properly and with the consultation of the public and businesses, a cycling option helps creates a healthier community.  The City of Langley can set the bar for a ‘walkable’ city with a public cycling infrastructure.
