Busy commuter route has motorcycle and car collide at 256th and 64th

Police and emergency responders are on the scene of a collision at 256 Street and 64 Avenue at about 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13.

A red motorcycle and a gray car had collided in the middle of the intersection.

The motorcycle had been pulled to the shoulder where it was parked, while the car remained in the intersection, pointed west.

Police were directing traffic around the crash scene while officers investigated.

Extent of injuries is not known at this time. Further details will be posted when available.

The intersection, which has stop signs posted at 64 Avenue and through traffic permitted on 256 Street, has experienced a number of crashes in recent months.
