Two live concerts as part of Variety Show of Hearts Telethon

Event, taking place on Feb. 13 and 14, celebrates its 50th anniversary

Mayors and councils of 45 B.C. communities have declared Feb. 8 to 12 Variety Week.

In addition, as the Variety Show of Hearts Telethon is going live again to celebrate its 50th anniversary with two live concerts, the shows are open to anyone and everyone who wants to help raise funds to help kids with special needs.

Tickets are admission by donation for both the Saturday night and Sunday afternoon shows, which take place at The Centre, 777 Homer St. in Vancouver.

The lineup on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 7 to 11 p.m. is 54-40, Charlie, Aaron Pritchett, Five Alarm Funk and Vancouver TheatreSports League.

The lineup on Sunday, Feb. 14 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. is Jim Byrnes, Barney Bentall, Shari Ulrich, Colleen Rennison, and Chilliwack,
