This week’s prize is a gift card from Me & Ed’s.
Last week’s photo showed an old playground at Douglas Park. Our winner, Brian Johnson, wrote: “On Saturdays after Mom did her shopping ‘Downtown’ she would take me to the park to go on the swings and this slide. In the summer if you sat for a little while would burn you and when you walked up to it in the right way, the sun reflection would burn out your eyes. LOL. I don’t think they could build one like that nowadays in order to protect our precious little ones. I’m sure it violates a whole bunch of PC rules.”
Preference is given to Langley residents. Entrants must be 19 or older. The winner will be selected by a random draw of all entries. The contest is not open to employees of the Langley Advance or Black Press.
Winner will be notified by email and must pick up the prize as offered at the Langley Advance office, 6375 202nd Street.
The Langley Advance reserves the right to reject entries deemed unsuitable, libelous or otherwise objectionable. Please keep entries suitable for a family newspaper.
