The remaining five contestants and one wild card choice are in the third and final phase of the Langley Makeover Challenge.

Remaining Langley makeover contestants seek public votes

Six contestants remain in the contest based on weight loss, fitness, personal growth and leadership.

The Total Makeover Challenge is down to the final five (with one wild card spot).

The six women remaining in the makeover contest are Tina Toel, Erin Schwaiger, Taryn Marcotte, Tammy Floyd, Charlene Delmaestro, and Bonnie Blanchard.

Now they are working to get online votes from the public at langley.totalmakeoverchallenge.com. Each contestant has blog posts about the challenge. Voting can be done from May 5 to 10.

This is the third and final segment of the challenge that started with 150 entrants in January, and will account for 30 per cent of the final scores. They will also be scored by their sponsors, based on leadership, work ethic and personal growth, on their weight loss, on various challenges thrown at them throughout the contest, and on their class, workshop and gym participation.

The top five, plus the wild card, continue with fitness training, weight loss coaching, personal development and other challenges.

An ultimate winner will be announced May 16.
