Langley’s Co-op car show has steam theme

The public is welcome to visit a vintage show and shine Sunday.

The “Era Of Steam” will be celebrated this Sunday in the Otter Co-op parking lot.

And there should be plenty of cool and vintage cars parked on the lot, too.

The fourth annual Country Car Show, sponsored by the Central Fraser Valley Chapter – Vintage Car Club of Canada and the Otter Co-op, starts at 9 a.m. at the co-op, 3650 248 St. (east on 248th off of Fraser Highway).

The show and shine – dubbed Celebrating the Era of Steam, includes dash plaques, a prize draw for all entries, entertainment, a “country friendly atmosphere,” a full breakfast at the Otter Co-op for $3.99, and burger and hotdog sales outside.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. and closes at 2 p.m., and the entry fee is $10.

For information, call John Jackman at 604-996-5646.
