Langley Lodge marks Canada’s 150th early

Entertainment, treats and a federal funding announcement were part of the celebration.

Langley Lodge residents and families were hosted by the board of the complex care facility for early Canada Day celebrations on Tuesday.

Many of the residents were able to sit outside in the courtyard and enjoy the big band music of the Lady Larks, special treats, and plenty of red and white decorations.

Cloverdale-Langley City MP John Aldag was among the politicians attending and made an announcement about the lodge’s new outreath program to help isolated and at-risk seniors. (See related story)
