Langley eatery hosts Fort Mac fundraiser

A local woman has organized an event to raise money for the Red Cross.

A Langley restaurant is hosting a fundraising event Saturday for families displaced from Fort McMurray by the recent wildfires.

The NY Grill & Bistro will host Jodi Marsh’s fundraiser for the Canadian Red Cross on May 28 from 6-10 p.m.

There will be raffles, a 50/50 draw, a silent auction and twoonie toss.

Live music will be performed by local band Furlong Johnson.
