Full house for Aldergrove Rotary Pasta Night

Fundraiser for Rotary Club’s Starfish Backpack program, which provides food for 60 Aldergrove youths

Aldergrove Rotary Club enjoyed a full house for its annual Pasta Night fundraiser last week.

The hall was packed and guests enjoyed the dining treats created by chef Carlos Bonetti and socializing.

The event is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club’s Starfish Backpack program, which provides a package of food for 60 Aldergrove youths who need the help.

The food packs are distributed every Friday for the kids to take home on the weekend when there is no school breakfast or lunch program available.

Events such as the Pasta Night and donors provide the funding for the program, which costs about $525 for each students supplied with food.
