Estate planning seminars coming to Langley neighbourhoods

The Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation and Fraser Health offer seminars starting June 8.

The community can take advantage of free seminars on estate planning and advance care planning.

People can learn about estate planning topics such as wills, power of attorney, charitable giving and executorship, as well as a presentation on advance care planning (setting out one’s medical wishes).

The Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Legacy Giving Advisory Committee and Fraser Heath’s Advanced Care Program will be conducting free seminars.

The first seminar is Wednesday, June 8 at 6:45 p.m. in the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre, 26770 29th Ave.

The subsequent sessions in other Langley neighbourhoods run September 2016 to June 2017.

People must register in advance. They can call 604-514-6043 or email kate.ludlam@fraserhealth.ca. Complete details are at lmhfoundation.com/events/estate-planning-seminars.
