Lanterns will highlight a Lunar New Year celebration next weekend at the Douglas Recreation Centre.

The Lantern Festival art exhibit is a free community celebration that runs Saturday, Feb. 23 from 6-8 p.m. at the centre, 20550 Douglas Cres.

Hosted by the City of Langley in partnership with the Langley Arts Council, the festival is expected to feature more than 200 hand-painted lanterns on display, live music by a traditional Taiwanese musician, traditional Chinese dance performances, and more.
