Dear Editor,
With Canada getting a warning via the grounded cruise ship in the NorthWest Passage, will Stephen Harper heed it?
Will the prime minister start spending billions on charting northern waters and managing ship traffic in the north, instead of squandering billions in Afghanistan?
Instead of watching him driving around the Arctic on a quad for a photo op, many of us would like to hear news about Harper and his government getting a handle on the looming problem of northern waters shipping traffic and trouble - because it's on its way.
James Charles,
Langley
