The police are looking for a man who found the time to rob a store at Willowbrook Shopping Centre.
The Langley RCMP has released a photo of a man who stole a $13,000 watch from Golden Tree Jewelers on Jan. 13, explained Cpl. Holly Marks
The man entered the store just before 3 p.m.
“He told the clerk he wanted to see and ultimately try on some watches,” Marks said. “The clerk removed a watch worth approximately $13,000 from the case and fastened it to the man’s wrist.”
He then ran out of the store, and out through the nearby mall doors. Marks said he was seen getting into a champagne-coloured Buick four-door sedan.
“The male is described as in his early 20s, with medium toned skin, dark hair and wearing a dark hoodie,” she said.
The RCMP is asking people to look at the photo from surveillance footage to see if they can provide any information to the police.
