The latest luxury auto dealer to look at setting up in Langley is Mercedes/Smart.
Langley City council is set to vote on a development application for a lot on the eastern edge of the City to accommodate a 4,324 square mete (46,547 square feet) dealership.
Instead of being the latest luxury brand to go into the auto mall on Glover Road and the Langley Bypass, this dealership is asking the City to rezone land next door to that site that is home to BMW Langley and Audi Langley.
The Mercedes/Smart car site is bordered by the railway tracks on the north, the bypass on the west, Mufford Crescent on the east and Glover Road on the south.
The land is currently unzoned.
The development is up for discussion at the June 18 council meeting.
