The Langley Events Centre hosted some of the top amateur school-age wrestlers in B.C. late last week.

They came from schools around the province to compete in War on the Floor.

The War on the Floor tournament, held Dec. 19-21, featured grapplers from Grades 6-12.

The amateur wrestling tournament was at the Langley Events Centre.

Sheldon Haddad sized up his opponent, fellow Port Alberni wrestler David Wilson.
Queen Elizabeth Secondary's Hakam Hazim, right, took Kamloops' Kane Ferrier to the mat.
Centennial Secondary wrestler Thomas Mitchell was put in a tough position by his opponent, Maple Ridge's Taryn Richardson.
