A handful of Langley talent gets to face the top athletes from a dozen nations at the 29th Annual Harry Jerome Classic on June 10 at Swangard Stadium.
Canada's athletes can qualify for the London Olympics at this meet. Local athletes will be competing with the world's best like world shot put leader Canadian Dylan Armstrong and the world's top ranked decathlete American Ashton Eaton.
Mustangs Kyle Nielsen and Tiffany Perkins will throw javelin. Robbie Gallaugher will be long jumping and decathlete James Turner will do long jump and javelin. Braedon Dolfo and Dustin Walsh, who train in Langley, will also compete in the US vs Canada Paralympic visually impaired 4x100 metres.
