The new year started off with a rival girls soccer match up between the U9 Langley FC Thunder and the Langley United Storm.

This is the second time the two teams have played against each other; both matches have been a win for Langley United.

The game, played Saturday Jan. 26 at South Surrey Athletic Park, was a 1-0 win for the Storm.

The winning goal was scored by Amanda Clauzel, assisted by Danielle Jack.

Team MVP for Langley United was Camryn Lyon The Storm is coached by Glen Clauzel and Justin Rettig and consists of the following players: Amanda Clauzel, Camryn Lyon, Jacqueline Reinhard, Danielle Jack, Jamie Rettig, Jordan Blakker, Julia Cotton, Kaylyn Williams, Kienna Chescoe, Martina Pauga, and Shellyn Kenney.
