Rivermen heading to Cruise-In

 

Langley's junior team will visit with fans at the car show

 
 
 

The second weekend of September signals two things in Langley: another Good Times Cruise-In, one of the largest mixed car shows in Canada, and the start of the junior A hockey season in the community.

To celebrate both, the Langley Rivermen will be at Saturday's Cruise-In. Players, coaches, and Fraser the mascot will be set up by Levy's Source For Sports at 20411 Fraser Hwy.

They'll will be handing out tickets to their B.C. Hockey League home opener.

Fans will get their first look at the Rivermen on Langley Events Centre ice on Saturday, Sept.

22, when they host the visiting Alberni Valley Bulldogs at 7: 15 p.m.

The 'Men start their season on Cruise-In weekend, as they take part in the CHL Showcase in Chilliwack at Prospera Centre.

The Rivermen will kick off the event on Friday, Sept. 7 against Alberni Valley at 3: 30 p.m. and finish the Showcase on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. against Prince George.

The main Cruise-In show 'n shine falls between those games.
