Olympians visit

Langley Gymnastics Foundation welcomed a pair of 2012 Canadian Olympian gymnasts to its facility at the Langley Events Centre Saturday. Brittany Rogers was joined by her Olympic teammate Nathan Gafuik, the only male athlete to represent Canada in artistic gymnastics at the London Games. LGF president Garry Geisler said it was a great event. "The little ones were so excited," Geisler said. "One of the questions from a younger athlete was 'can we just come up and give you a hug?' Brittany's response ended in a group hug with her in the centre of all the little gymnasts." During her visit, Rogers played video clips of her performance in London, spoke about her experience, answered many questions, and signed autographs and many body suits. Gafuik also signed autographs and answered questions.
