Approximately 800 gymnasts from across B.C. will be at the LEC this weekend for the Christy Fraser Invitational.

A major gymnastics event is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend at the Langley Events Centre.

The Langley Gymnastics Foundation is hosting the Christy Fraser Memorial Invitational Competition this Friday to Sunday (March 8-10).

The first CFMI was held in January 1993.

This competition will have gymnasts from beginner to national level competing and more than 800 athletes from all over the province are registered to take part. This also serves as a B.C. Trials event for the Western Canadian Championships being held in Manitoba this year. Tickets will be available at the door.
