All in all, not a bad first season in the very competitive Pacific Coast Soccer League for Langley Athletic FC.

A 6-3 win over the host Okanagan Challenge July 15 at Kelowna's Apple Bowl capped the PCSL season for the youthful side.

Brayden Gant led LAFC's offence with two goals in the season-ending victory over the Challenge.

Jarvis Ambarka, Andy Phillips, Nate Turner, and Darrell scored singles for the visiting club.

The win gave LAFC a 5-6-5 record to finish the campaign. The local lads ended up sixth in the PCSL's nine-team Premier Division.

After competing in the USL Super 20 loop last season, LAFC joined the PCSL. In the process, the club graduated from U20 to open men's play.

The team stumbled out of the blocks with three consecutive losses. From there, LAFC finished with a 5-3-5 record, recording points in 10 of its final 13 games.

LAFC had several ups and downs this season but for the most part, managed to hold its own in a highprofile league. Despite a rash of injuries, Langley finished its season on a strong note, with one win, one loss, and three draws.
