The Aldergrove Kodiaks made mincemeat out of the Port Moody Black Panthers Saturday at Port Moody Arena.
The Kodiaks jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 14 minutes of the game and led 7-2 after two periods of play.
The visitors rounded out the night by scoring the only three goals of the third period to win 10-2.
Brandon Potomak led the Kodiaks' attack with two goals and four assists.
Colton Precourt with a hat trick and two assists, and Thomas Hardy with two goals and two assists also had big nights, offensively, for the Kodiaks.
It was a roughandtumble affair with three fights along with a kneeing major and game misconduct being assessed to Port Moody's Sheldon Vannerus at the 10: 35 mark of the second period.
The Kodiaks lead the Pacific International Junior Hockey League's Harold Brittain Conference with a 23-8-1-1 record.
Aldergrove's junior Bs host the Delta Ice Hawks Wednesday at Aldergrove Arena.
