The Vancouver Canucks will never win the Stanley Cup, because they have condemned themselves with their name - not to mention their goalie.

The words Canada and Canuck are all about the east. Do a bit of searching and you'll discover that those words are all about Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City, and are sprinkled with salt from the Atlantic Ocean.

Vancouver and its hockey team touch the west coast, the Pacific coast. Vancouver's hockey team's emblem of a killer whale is OK, but the name Canucks certainly is not.
