Dear Editor,

I would like to put out a special thank you out to all the friends, family, and businesses that made the Cops for Cancer Christmas Light fundraiser event such a success.

For the second year in a row, Buy Low Foods and Cedarbrook Bakery and Deli provided us with buns, hotdogs and hot chocolate. It is because of their generosity that we were able to serve these items to the community that comes to take part in our event.

We also had many of our local businesses donate to a silent auction, helping us to triple our total from the previous year.

Key Lime Design donated a tent which was up for all of December, so we never had to worry about weather.

This is definitely not something that can be done with out the support of those around you. Our total this year was $1,718.70. We look forward to beating this total for next year.
