The Crown will not appeal former RCMP Cpl. Benjamin "Monty" Robinson's sentence. Robinson is the former Mountie convicted of obstruction of justice in the 2008 Tsawwassen crash that killed 21-year-old Orion Hutchinson.
Sometimes I wonder if the powers that be are merely waiting for us to get tired of outrageous police behaviour so the media will stop reporting it.

Benjamin "Monty" Robinson is still waiting to learn his sentence for his obstruction of justice conviction, but he did find out last Friday he's no longer a member of the RCMP.
