Cinco de Mayo

May 4 is the Cinco de Mayo Mexican celebration at Jubilee Hall, 7989 Bradner Rd., Abbotsford, with upbeat party band Grooventonic (grooventonic.com).

Dec. 31, join the fun and ring in the New Year at Jubilee Hall, 7989 Bradner Rd, Abbotsford. Dance to live music by the Ken McCoy Band with a mix of southern and classic rock. Doors open at 7 p.m., with a full buffet dinner at 8 p.m. Your ticket includes top notch party favours and champagne at midnight. Great value and a guaranteed good time plus overnight parking. Make the most of Mother's Day

Take mom to the annual salmon fry release at Stoney Creek (corner of McKee Drive and Old Clayburn Road) in Abbotsford from noon to 2 p.m. on May 13.
