Abduction attempt alarms girl

Langley RCMP are looking into another report of an attempted abduction in the Langley City area.

On Friday, Feb. 1, at about 3:30 p.m., a 12-year-old girl was approached by a man in the 5100 block of 205th Street, said Cpl. Holly Marks of the RCMP.

The man is described as Caucasian, in his 30s, with brown scruffy hair, a stocky build, and standing about 5’9”. The man had a scratch on the right iside of his face and was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, dark blue jeans and white Nike runners. He was also wearing a watch with a silver band and Roman numerals, on his right arm, said Marks.

The man was driving a white pickup truck with a large dent on the rear passenger side near the tailgate, and another dent on the driver’s side door, surrounded by scratches.
