A man was rushed to hospital Wednesday morning after he was found on a suburban Langley street suffering from stab wounds.
Just before 6 a.m., two young men walking to a convenience store in Brookswood found an injured man around 37th Avenue and 200th Street.
The victim asked for help, and the young men called emergency services.
The victim is now in hospital recovering from his serious injuries, but police aren’t sure where he was attacked or by whom.
“The victim is not cooperating, and at this point is also medicated,” said Cpl. Holly Marks, a spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.
The victim is known to police, Marks said.
The Serious Crime section at the local detachment is investigating.
This is the second knife attack this month in Langley. On Dec. 7 police investigated after an apparent knife fight in Aldergrove that left three people with superficial wounds.
