Langley RCMP issued an alert Sunday afternoon, asking for the public’s help to find a missing man.

Sithol Outh, 56, is a resident of Murrayville Manor, and was last seen Saturday afternoon, at about 1 p.m., said Const. Craig van Herk.

“The police, Sithol’s family, and caregivers are very concerned for his well-being, as he has medical conditions that require medication,” van Herk explained.

“Sithol walked away from Murrayville Manor without his wallet and possibly carrying a laundry basket with a garbage bag in it,” he elaborated.

Police do not believe he has access to a vehicle, but know that he was talking about going to Edmonton, Alta.

“Investigators believe there is a possibility that Sithol may have attempted to take a bus to Edmonton,” van Herk said. “This has not been confirmed.”

In the meantime, Mounties are asking locals to help in the hunt for Outh.

He’s described as a Cambodian male, who stands 5 ft. 4 in. tall, weighs about 176 pounds, has a slim build, salt-and-pepper hair, and brown eyes.

Outh was last seen wearing a white and blue checkered shirt with a grey hoodie, black Nike pants, and brown shoes.

Anyone who has seen this man, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200, or to remain anonymous, call 1-800-222-8477.

Police will issue a photo of the missing man, when one becomes available.
