Dear Editor,

Dean Clark[Life not protected in Canada, Oct. 16 Letters, Langley Advance] needs to turn the page. His one-man antiabortion campaign is getting very old and very tired.

This is 2012, not 1812. Women have a choice, as well they should have.

If he really wants to live in the Dark Ages, he could go down to any of several Central American countries that are dominated and run by the Catholic Church. There are actually laws that can send both a doctor performing an abortion and the woman receiving one to jail!

Fortunately for all of us living here, things are a little more enlightened in this neck of the woods.

Please, move on.
