Seniors at the Renaissance Retirement Resort hosted the first annual First Responders Appreciation BBQ on Sept. 14. The public was invited to enjoy a lunch with the proceeds doing to charities of choice for local firefighters and paramedics, and meet local emergency personnel in a relaxed setting. (Above) Audrey Terry agreed to play patient in a demonstration of paramedic service by Andrew Billing and Scott Redick. (Middle) On the grill were Township firefighters such as Dean Symons and Rob Hook. (Upper right) Firefighters served up lunch. (Lower right) In addition to the $5 lunch, there were draws and raffles to help raise money.
