Sign up for a seniors home exercise program at the City library.
The Langley City public library is helping seniors stay active. It has teamed up with the Council of Senior Citizens' Organizations of BC, COSCO, on an upcoming workshop called Staying Fit at Home. It runs 2-3 p.m. on March 5.
It's perfect for those seniors who don't feel comfortable joining fitness groups or going to the gym.
Discover simple exercises to do at home that will improve health and wellness.
A trained senior facilitator delivers practical and useable information free of technical jargon.
By creating a safe, age-friendly physical environment and adopting strategies for healthy living, seniors enjoy a better quality of life.
Please call the library at 604-514-2855 or visit at 20399 Douglas Crescent in Langley to register in advance for this program.
