Search and Rescue crews headed out into South Langley on Tuesday morning, looking for William Fraser Brown.
The missing Langley senior was last seen around 16th Avenue and 237th Street, said Cpl. Craig van Herk, acting RCMP spokesperson.
Brown was last seen by his family on Oct. 19, and it is out of character for the 65-year-old to simply vanish, van Herk said.
“His family describes this behaviour as very much out of the ordinary,” said van Herk. “They, along with the Langley RCMP, are very concerned for Mr. Brown’s well being.”
Police are asking that anyone who has seen Brown please contact the RCMP at 604-532-3200.
Brown has grey hair and blue eyes, stands about 5’11” and weighs 270 pounds.
Brown’s name was originally reported as William Fraser.
