Dear Editor,
In the Chilliwack/Hope by-election, John Martin (a criminologist) came in last, a distant third behind the NDP and Liberal candidates. Christy Clark said they began pursuing Martin to join the BC Liberals right after that by-election.
What? In whose world does being a loser enhance your public image and stature?
Christy's downplay: "We say all kinds of things to get elected. You have to kiss and make up in politics."
Are the Liberals this desperate, or did she recognize the need to get her party's ethics under review by recruiting their own in-house criminologist?
