Police are looking for the person who broke into and set fire to Brookswood Baptist Church on Saturday morning.
According to assistant Langley Township fire chief Bruce Ferguson, the fire broke out around 5 a.m.
The arsonist broke a window and set fire to books in a bookshelf in a back room of the church.
Fortunately, the building is equipped with sprinklers which kept the fire contained, said Ferguson.
The building suffered about $50,000 in estimated damages.
